Description

We are looking for our next Financial Controller Intern as of October 1st at our AXA Headquarters!

Location : 25 avenue Matignon, 8th arrondissement Paris.

Within Finance Department, you will join the Group Tax Department team as Financial Controller.

What You’ll Do

  • Participate in various tasks related to the implementation of the global minimum tax (OECD Pillar 2) project: simulation work, data collection and analysis, accuracy checks, coordination with entities, and oversight in establishing processes for tracking notifications.
  • Review of tax appendices for the annual report as part of the FY2025 closing process.
  • Monitoring and control to be conducted in the Galaxy tool, which allows tracking of the Group’s participations.
  • Contribution to tax transparency outputs: analysis of CbCR (Country by Country Reporting), the AXA Group’s transparency report, and various questionnaires.
  • Accomplish various tasks for the team: PowerPoint presentations, information research, organization, etc.

Qualifications

Who You Are

  • Last year of Business School, Engineering School, or University, or gap year
  • Previous experience in finance or data analysis is a plus.
  • Good proficiency in the Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI). Master databases.
  • Strong interest in data analysis and formalization, as well as the use of data analysis tools.
  • Interest in finance in general (accounting, consolidation under IFRS standards, and taxation).
  • Strong motivation, autonomy, and ability to take initiative.
  • Good communication skills and ability to integrate a team.
  • Fluent in French and English – daily professional use of English.
